Please join your KCWC art-loving friends for a delightful late morning visit to the studio/gallery space of mixed media artist, and fellow KCWC member, Kira Behnert. Kira will offer our group a private peek into her artistic practice and her evolution as an artist. We will wander among the work on display while we enjoy refreshments, art and conversation together!
Your non-KCWC friends are welcome to join you for this event . . . it will be a nice introduction to the kinds of events the club offers.
More about the artist: Kira Behnert restarted her artistic practice in 2010, studying at various leading London art schools and completing a diploma at Putney School of Art & Design (2017–2019). During that time her work was scouted by an agent in Miami, and she began exhibiting at pre-Basel Miami shows. More recently she has focused on the UK and Europe - regularly exhibiting at the Affordable Art Fairs in London, Amsterdam, and Brussels, with representation from Newinger Art Gallery for her wood panel works. In July 2025 she was shortlisted for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, selected from 32,000 applicants.
Alongside her art practice, Kira completed a Master’s in Cultural Leadership with the Royal Academy of Arts and Maastricht University, which has given her further insight into the global art world.
Kira's work ranges from large-scale abstract paintings to layered wood-panel pieces and vibrant monotype screen prints. Prices range from £250 (unframed prints) to £5,000 (large paintings). You can view examples of Kira's work on Instagram (@kirabehnert_art) or via her website (www.kirabehnert-art.com).
